It is interesting that this bird is ringed. There has been at least one (I think maybe 2) Pale Thrush ringed at Mai Po this winter.
Do you have photos which show the ring number clearly, such that the numbers on the ring might be readable? It would be interesting to confirm which individual this is. Also, it would be interesting to know whereabouts at Mai Po it was photographed.
Great photos by the way, of a bird that is often difficult to see.
