Nesting Egets and Night Herons on Green Island
I pass by Green Island on the Lamma Ferry several times a week. In Spring time it's a big nesting area for egrets and night herons. I week ago as well as the majority Little Egrets and Black-crowned Night Herons (20) there were 3 Great Egrets. I hadn't noticed them there before and I wondered if Great Egrets have been nesting there or other places in Hong Kong as I didn't think they did.
