The first two should be Dark-sided Flycatcher and the third one I think is Asian Brown Flycatcher. Please correct me if I have wrong id.

I agree that the first photo shows a Dark-sided Flycatcher.

But I have doubt about the 2nd and 3rd - partly due to the angle.I would say Red-throated Flycatcher. Do you have photos showing the back of that two birds?

3551sweat445 Very sorry! I just taken only this one....

Beetle 11/10/2010 19:01

No need to say sorry! Because you learn when you ask!
Next time if you have chance, take more photos with more angle -
or more importantly, observe the bird more with a pair of binoculars!

Did you note down their behaviours and voice? Asian Brown Flycatchers are quite different from Red-throated Flycatchers, while the latter prefer standing closer to ground and catch insects near the ground.

By the way, did you compress the images too much? I found the file size of the photos very small. If you are limited by the attachment size of the forum, try to use the space provided by some other webs and post it here.
