A comparision of Leica D-lux5 and Lumix LX5 in digiscoping
I have the opportunity to carry out a simple test on these two DCs, both of them were manufactured by the same manufacturer Panasonic in Japan, but under different trade name, one costs 4k and the other 7k.
All the shots were taken under the same conditon and setting to the best possible, namely
ISO 100,
1/125 second,
f2.8
10.7mm
in JPG format.
Using the same scope of 30X eyepiece, cable realease & tripod, taken from indoor via opened window to the opposite building.
I don't know if you could see the difference. I did find some.3551em43445
One thing in common, they both have slight purple fringe near the edges.

Nice test . I would like an LX5 for the faster fps.
