Looks very far far away! Is it possible to locate it by binoculars?

Could be spotted with some difficulty with bins alone when I was there. It was at 150-200 metres range in amongst Tufted Ducks, with very strong backlighting.
Basically you needed a scope, and then it was quite easy to pick up while preening.
