Beautiful shot of this one! I find Emerald Doves more common on Lamma than anywhere else in Hong Kong. The dense feng-shui woods seem to be quite to their liking.

I've only just seen this thread. Great pictures of a species that's often really difficult to see on the ground - the pond is working its magic again!
One comment though. This bird appears to be a female rather than a male. Males should show a much brighter and cleaner grey crown and nape, contrasting with the rest of the head and neck.
