Digiscoping with Sony W100
I had heard a lot of good things about the Sony lens but had I wasn't that keen because they seemed to be too slow and not many features but I finally thought I would try one. The lens is very digiscoping "friendly" and should work well with most eyepieces without , or very little vignetting.
I tested it out today on the Swarvoski 45x eyepiece on our cooperative Siberian Stonechat at Mai Po. This is full size ( I cropped the sides a bit) at iso 80 and 2/3 zoom on the camera ( about 3200 mm ). Neil.
