Canon G12 for Digiscoping

I seem to have forgotten about one of the great digicams in the market currently and how it would digiscope.
I have fiddled around with G Series cameras since my G6 days but found it difficult due to the design of their lenses.
The Kowa 25x LER eyepiece , with 32 mm of Eye Relief is a good match for difficult lenses ( it will also handle long zooms ). So recently I've been using the G12 a bit more.  I particularly like it's rotatable screen and it's Continuous Raw shooting.  Although the frame rate is not fast , there are occasions when Continuous is more important eg when Egret is grooming and you want to capture lot's of different poses.

Were these pictures taken in HK and if so when?

The GSP in juv plumage like that seems an unusual sight, but maybe I just don't get out enough these days.
