Manchurian or Black-browed Reed warbler??
Long Valley. The black above the supercilium doesn't seem too extensive but not too sure on this bird.

Structure, head pattern and pale iris all look good for Manchurian on this bird. Congratulations - you did manage to find one after all!

The bird at Mai Po I was referring to was this bird. At the time, I thought it was too small for an Oriental Reed Warbler but now I can't see any reason why it isn't one.
