Presumably these in flight shots raise strong concerns over it having had a period of confinement, and also perhaps that it is the Long Valley bird - the head and neck looks a bit odd in profile.

I can't see how this damage could have occurred in the wild. Too bad for those of us hoping for a new tick.

哈哈!今早我都見到牠--南生圍/16-11-2011,
後來起飛,飛到彼岸與一群黑臉琵鷺一起休息.
自由自在,我感覺到牠好開心.
