野味

順德陳村花卉世界的一家酒樓。返開大陸的朋友應「見怪不怪」

Photos taken at a restaurant at a flower market near Shunde. Should not be too surprised to frequent travelers to Guangdong.

Right! You can find much more than this in whole-sale market all around Shunde. I saw 2 Purple Heron on 26/12.3551em0654445

just because I believe that people have to look at this pictures.
Here  a picture of a bird found in a street in Kaiping, it is the second time, that I  first see in cage a bird that I never see in the field in China.
According to the quantity of illegal mis-net can be seen over the field along the coast, I suspect population of Grass Owl in Guangdong to be in really bad situation as well as other open field Owl.

As some of the caged birds are Nationally protected, is it possible to get a hotline of the Authority concerned in Guangdong and report our sightings to them? Maybe bird watching societies in Shenzhen and Guangdong can help.

Thanks
