Bird trade in Burma(Myanmar)
I have been to Myanmar last week. This was spotted everywhere in the street of different cities in Myanmar, such as Mandalay & Bagan. I don't know what they are for, eating or for religious freeing. How miserable.

From a trip in Cambodia, I would guess the swallows are for religious purposes, while the owls and herons are for culinary purposes, and usually smuggled to China.
Shame on them!
