First BFS arrive to Mai Po 2012 winter ?

There were five spoonbills at Mai Po for much of the summer, but this seems to have dropped to two in the last few weeks. I guess the birds you saw are probably these two ovesummering birds, rather than returning migrants.

I have observed the details of these two birds. They are the ones staying at Mai Po over the summer. The first returning bird usually arrive in mid-October.
