ED50 Fieldscope with eye piece
I want to buy Nikon ED50 with lower price
Is it good enough for birding ?
Is it possible to set up as digiscoping with F31. ?

Water,
For birding, it is very OK. However, if you want dual purpose---digiscoping as well, I am afraid the objective (50mm) is too small to give an acceptable result. Try to get 77mm or 80mm type.

The minimum Objective size for digiscoping would be 65 mm. Pentax have a new one PF 65 ED 11 which is showing good results and should be a reasonable price. If you can't buy it in HK you can buy it from B and H in New York mail order. Neil.
