Crested Serpent Eagle in the garden!!
An unusual visitor this morning. I was interested that the spotting seems to go all the way up to the throat. Most of the illustrations I see have the spots stop lower on the breast.

I wouldn't let the dog out, if I were you !
Great "Garden Tick" anyway !

That was Shirley's first question - would it eat Lulu. Just to be on the safe side she is confined to her basket. (Lulu that is, not Shirley).

Great photo- I just had two perched low down near home. I heard a quiet mewling call, not their usual call so I didn't recognise it, and tracked them right down to the branch. It had a good look at me and flew. Great garden tick- I only get them as fly overs!
