Inspiration Lake
On the return from the Magic Roundabout and the mighty Naumann's Thrush, I stopped off at Inspiration Lake. It was getting late so most birds seemed to be heading to roost but I did see a red-bellied philippensis [b]blue rock thrush, blue whistling thrush, Japanese Thrush, Grey-backed Thrush, Blackbird[/b], three [b]Daurian Redstart[/b], [b]Olive-backed Pipit[/b], a leaf warbler sp and the usual common birds. There was a fruiting tree which thrushes were feeding in and around near the 7 Eleven- perhaps 150m anti-clockwise around the lake.
It is nice to see thrushes hopping about on a lawn for a change!
