You were correct with your ID of the Bluethroat - I guess the clue is in the name as they say! - but this is not a Little Bunting.
In fact I guess you probably noted it actually walking around a lot - it's a common ground AND tree dwelling species in winter in HK (actually I suppose Little Bunting fits that description, but they don't really walk around on the ground).
Also the bill is finer on this bird and it has a predominantly olive back.
