please note that they are opposite the picnic area before the car park .. i.e. after parking your car, you should walk back down the hill and you will find a very large area with BBQ facilities on the right and the varied tits, along with a bunch of Tristram's Bunting should be in a bunch of trees (4m tall) on the left of the road. the trees are right in front of a fairly steep hill ..

Saw the two Varied Tits there this morning, thanks for the directions.
Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of the second bird at all? The second bird has a much tattier-looking tail than this one.

I am unsure if these are the ones you were referring to as i did observe over 4 varied tits in one group last sunday.

Thanks Wilson, the tail looks okay in this bird too. The tail on one of the birds this morning had a tail in pretty poor condition - I was hoping to see some close up shots of this.
Four individuals seen though is impressive.
