The golden ring of a little plover
Wearing a brown cap with white forehead black mask white eyebrow, this bird settled on silt flat in Long Valley on January 17th. With oval crystal black pupil surrounded by golden iris, the pair of unique eyes enriched the distinctive black and white head pattern. The ringed iris radiates out engulfing the silt flat turning the plantation to yellowish mosses. She is a little ringed plover.
