Chinese Pond Herons
24th April 2013, at Victoria Park today there were 11 (eleven) Chinese Pond Herons in full breeding plumage. Although I go to the park frequently this is the first time to sight Chinese Pond Herons

Over the many years observing Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter and Victoria Park, I have only ever seen one CPH.
The birds when they left the park yesterday were headed in the general direction of Tai Tam, so maybe they are at Tai Tam Harbour.
