Zappey's Flycatcher Cyanoptila cumatilis
For anyone lucky enough to see the Po Toi bird, the IOC has just accepted the split of Zappey's Flycatcher from Blue-and-white Flycatcher:

Sorry 9Wi, but your bird looks more like the subspecies intermedia of Blue-and-White Flycatcher rather than a Zappey's. Do you have photos of the underparts.

This looks similar in colouring to the bird I had this spring on south Lantau that I initially claimed as Zappey's but later concluded was intermedia.

i am un sure of the difference but this little one was taken on the 7th April 2013
