Mystery shrike ?
It is Long-tailed Shrike...
The rufous on the back of Burmese Shrike is quite intense, and Burmese Shrike looks relatively compact.

"O.B.I." is a good photo-reference site for many asian species.

Bird B is moulting it's tail, and I think has lost the longest inner tail feathers. This makes the tail look shorter than normal, which is one reason for your confusion.
The small pale tip/fringe to the tail feathers is typical in Long-tailed Shrike but can wear off over time.
