North Carolina summer/fall 2013
It doesn't seem so long to me but it has been 8 months since I have left HK. Thought I would share some photos from my new home in North Carolina in the East Coast of USA.
None are rare except for Red-cockaded Woodpecker which is IUCN Vulnerable status and Bachman's Sparrow which near-threatened but there are well known breeding locations for both species.

Hi Brendan,
Time flies like a blink of an eye, thanks for sharing the N American birds.
It must be a typo of the Brown-headed Nuthatch, lovely bird indeed.
Looking forward for more shots from you :)
Cheers

Hi PWMK,
Long time since I have seen any posts from you this autumn.
Yes, you are correct. It is a Brown-headed Nuthatch.
I will work on getting some more photos and I hope to see more of photos soon too.
Brendan
