A hungry Greater Spotted Eagle

It was still young to master the killing skill and so was unable to grab a duck after a couple of trials. Then it landed on a tree & started to eat the plant !

Thanks Kinni & Mike.
Checked the photos I took on that day & found that both the Imperial Eagle & the Greater Spotted Eagle were in the same area. They appeared in the sky alternately.

This afternoon this Greater Spotted Eagle was seen again on the other side of the gei wai.

But 2 minutes later, I missed what just happened before! It got a prey already, i.e. no vegetarian anymore.

It looked as if it didn't enjoy the meat very much and still tried to catch a duck. Yet it got no luck !
