I would like to ask if the first one is the long-billed plover given the obvious white patch above the bill. And is the second one a juvenile Little ringed plover ?

indeed .. without another plover by his side, 6 inches and 8 inches doesn't seem very different from 20 meters away .. this is one of the rare occasions, where you actually want lots of people to be looking for this bird coz more eyes to spot ..haha
