A Grey-headed Lapwing was seen this morning in Shallow Water Habitats managed by HKBWS.

This afternoon at Long Valley the following were present:
Cinnamon Bittern - 1
Ruddy Crake - 1
Long-toed Stint - 3
Bluethroat - 3
Hair-crested Drongo - 1
Little Bunting - 1
Chinese Starling - 3

sunny and hot this morning... and not a good time for birding in LV....

7-8 x common snipe
1 x green sandpiper
2 Bluethroat were also seen.
A flock with around 15 cattle egret feeding around, some already in breeding plumage.

A pair of Painted Snipe was seen on #226 on 12 May.
12 Painted Snipes were seen in Long Valley by Kwok Jai on 13 May evening.
