北海道寒冬拍鳥體驗

可能因為日圓貶值，今年前往北海道鳥攝的香港朋友特別多，本人因緣際會於二月中到北海道拍鳥，出發前二天正值日本數十年來罕見的大風雪，而且正各北海道漫延，出發日帶著憂心忡忡的心情到達札幌。我們預算九天的行情是在札幌取車前往帶廣過一晚，第二天早上再驅車前往丹頂之里，由於丹頂之里預訂不到旅館唯有到釧路過夜，之後二天到風蓮湖，然後再到羅臼停二天再返回帶廣，之後在札幌停一晚然後乘早機返港，結果是沿途風雪相隨，很多道路都封閉及半封閉狀態，我們也差一點到不了羅臼，最後天見可憐我們幸有一天時間停在羅臼，完成拍浮冰海鵰的心願。

我想在此分享一下今次拍鳥體驗，希望大家將來有機會到北海道時多一點有用資訊，我將今次體驗分為衣,食,住,行,器材等等去簡單的叙述。
衣:
北海道冬天的氣溫大概是零下3度至零下10度左右，當然要視乎天氣及位置，但風速影響更為重要，在露天大風下長時間拍攝是很難熬的，甚至會凍傷手指腳趾耳鼻等。我會頭戴冷帽頸戴頸套，頸套大風時可以拉起掩著口鼻，加上長袖內衣褲，保暖長袖衫褲，抓毛衫羽絨褲再加上羽絨大衣連帽及防風褲，當然上述衣服要視乎天氣及地點靈活調整。鞋是防水登山皮靴，可以踏雪又可以過水氹，但走在路上不怕雪最怕冰，尤其是拿著沉重而昂貴的攝影器材更是小心翼翼，雖然可以穿戴一對簡易冰爪，但出出入入總是不便，到最後也沒有使用，慢些小心些便是了。順帶一提當地有一些長桶型保暖靴十分好用，我見當地很多鳥攝者都穿著，但考慮到我們可能只穿一次而且家裡也沒有多餘空間，最後都是放棄了。
食:
其實食在日本是甚為方便，便利店沿途可見，只要不甚挑剔基本上食物飲品種類不少，飯,麵,飯團,麵包三文治,餅乾零食及一些土產等，飲品有咖啡,紅茶綠茶，有凍有熱，啤酒汽水不在話下，我們在車內是零食飲品總是不缺的。在汽車導航系統內和Google map可以輕易找到不少日式餐館，只要在導航系統內輸入餐館電話，導航系統便好輕易帶你到餐館門前，雖然在隆冬時份的北海道，我發覺在大城小顉不少餐館依然開門營業。同時不少民宿及溫泉旅館都提供一泊二食，大都價錢合理又可免外出頻撲。

住:
網上預訂住宿現時都十分方便，例如Booking.com , Agoda等，只要提前2-3個月應該不難預訂房間，價錢及地點選擇也很多，最主要是無須落訂，提早取消也不用收費。民宿就麻煩一點，很多時都須要日文及傳真聯絡，其實也不須長篇大論，只要簡單寫出住宿日期,人數,男女是否一泊二食及查詢價錢等等，再加上Google translate應該足以應付。
我們在風蓮湖住宿風露莊，民宿簡樸食物可口價錢相宜，最重要是戶主有喂鳥習慣，坐在溫暖大廳內隔著大玻璃窗，可看到不少林鳥前來啄食，就算外面風雪交加也可安坐室內觀鳥，加上戶主大量鳥書及收藏品，一天足不出戶也可悠然自得。

行:
這次旅程為了慳錢，我們選擇了大韓航空，零晨飛首爾到札幌，而非飛東京停留一晚去釧路，要捱一晚夜，所以負責駕駛司機較為辛苦。札幌有火車到釧路，釧路也有巴士到羅臼，但班次較為疏落，帶著重型行李在冰天雪地上等火車巴士不是一件愉快的事情，有些鳥點更非巴士可以到達，所以如非必要我還是建議自駕遊較為方便靈活。我建議如2-3人可租用5人車，4-5人便須要7人車，因為在冬天每個人帶的行李會較多，加上不少攝影或觀鳥器材，我們3人行用5人車算是剛剛夠用。在網上預訂汽車，到札幌後落地面接待處通知租車公司派車來接，到達租車公司不用二十分鐘便可完成手續，檢查車輛後便可出發，記緊在訂酒店時列印資料，因為汽車導航要輸入電話或map code或地址，導航系統以日文為主，所以輸入電話最方便，其餘的便交給導航系統負責吧。

器材:
如經濟許可的話我建議雙機雙鏡或三鏡最好，同時又可保險，因為天氣寒冷隨時都會有死機風險，鏡頭方面可選584或684放於腳架，384,456或70-200用手持拍飛鳥較靈活，如只有單機單鏡我建議用328+1.4或2X，可以上腳架或手持，如體能上不能應付便只有用456或50-500等副廠鏡，但相片質素上要有點欺生。
我今次是雙機3鏡，通常是1D4配456，5D2配684，在車上四處找鳥時是1D4配684，在羅臼坐船影海鵰最好是1D4配70-200，但正正是須要70-200時卻匆忙間忘了帶上船70-200，所以手持拍飛過的大鵰好多爆框收場。我每部機都預備了2件電池，以防天氣冷影響電池壽命和意外，也就是在風蓮湖畔大風吹下拍了個多小時後發生電池固障，以身體包著相機保暖及幾次開機關機最後都不成功，幸好那時巳到拍攝尾聲，最後唯有收機離開，回到車內不久相機又回復正常。
拍攝心得
1. 大風雪下拍攝如停下來時最好以鏡頭套遮蓋鏡頭，在丹頂之里拍攝時正下著大風雪，雖然不拍時巳將鏡頭調較向下，拍攝途中忽然發現觀景器怎樣清理都不清晰，最後發現原來遮光罩之黑色絨毛是很容易積雪的，積聚後會黏結在鏡面上用氣泵也吹不走，結果是須要返回室內處理。

2. 下著大雪拍攝不是一件好玩的事情，我從未經歷過如此狼狽及手忙腳亂，雪花會很快的積聚在機面及觀景窗內，須要不時用氣玻及紙巾清理，同時又要抓緊時間拍攝，不竟喂食時間有限，半小時後就會搶食完畢，那種急迫環境回想起來十分有趣，但那個時候是有苦自己知。

3. 在雪地上拍海鵰測光最好以白色羽毛為準，在風蓮湖邊拍虎頭及白尾海鵰時就錯誤使用在香港拍鵰的經驗，以啡色羽毛測光，結果是炒咗九成照片，得到一個教訓。
4. 在丹頂之里如天氣好的話會很多人來拍攝，下午2時喂食，最好11時前到達爭取有利位置，下午一時後連後排也難找到好位置，必須以高腳架加高凳才能拍攝。以我觀察右邊轉角位會較為有利，背光之餘又可以拍到邊位的鶴群，背景可以較為乾淨。

5. 風蓮湖畔有民宿會在九時開始喂鵰，外來者收費500日圓，湖邊風很大注意保暖(人及相機)，食餌會放在100公尺開外，長鏡以684及856較為有利，群鵰搶食其間也較少飛近湖邊，反而黑鳶經常在頭頂飛過。湖中間中都會有鹿及狐狸經過，不過大都是很遠距離。

6. 風蓮湖附近之春國岱公園展館有觀鳥資訊，我們在這裡找到了在根室的花咲港有長尾鴨及番鴨，好運的話可以迎距離拍攝到。

7. 在羅臼的遊船拍鵰2小時大概6000-9000日圓，視乎每間公司及航程，每天2-3班，幾間公司大概3-4艘船，各有各喂，位置視乎浮冰情況，有時會在內港，上船必須穿著救生衣所以無須穿著太多衣服，不然的話會太壅腫，走動會不靈活。鏡頭方面以70-200或384較為方便，可惜我在匆忙中70-200忘記帶上船，用1D4配456拍飛經常爆框，5D2配684放在腳架上主要拍靜態照及大頭，2小時內遊船會四處移動，所以在船上要經常走動找目標，船頂會較為方便但向下拍浮冰上海鵰角度會無咁靚，2小時拍攝理應足夠。在羅臼海邊都有很多水鳥及樹棲版海鵰，但距離都比較遠，在此要考考大家的耐性，我大都是作為記錄照。
