Safeguarding Tai Po Kau

[size=4]The HKBWS needs your help in safeguarding the three enclaves within Tai Po Kau Nature Reserve that are currently being zoned under the Town Planning Ordinance.  The Town Planning Board is inviting the general public to make comments on the Development Permission Area plan and the Society is proposing these areas to be zoned as Conservation Areas. -        Bird records/photos at these enclaves
-        Date of record
-        Your statement of objection/proposal for Conservation Area

Our goal is to get 150 bird photos taken at the orchards of these areas to submit to the Board to show their ecological importance.[/size]

[size=4]Comments to the Town Planning Board are due tomorrow (Wednesday).  Instructions on how to submit comments are shown in the original post.  

You may simply propose to the Board that the area [color=Green][u]should be kept for conservation purposes and the most appropriate zoning is "Conservation Area" only.[/u][/color]  Also feel free to add other suggestions you feel appropriate.  Thank you for your help![/size]
