Wow, great bird and photo.
Why do these birds pass through Guangzhou and not Hong Kong?
We have only had one looking like this in the last 10 years to my knowledge, in 2011.
But they seem to be more frequent in Guangzhou.

i think a lot of birds are caught in Guangzhou and there about therefore they never quite make it to HK .. 3551f60952e1445

Are these photos taken at Sun Yat-Sen University? Can you advise the location within the university?

this is NOT in Sun Yat-Sen University. Just one more stop by subway (route 8), name Hill Kong Park (曉港公園). Downstair from BBQ then you can see, but I am not not sure still there right now.
