Is it possible that the two pictures are showing two individuals? The one in the lower picture lacks the blacking in the breast just under the thorat.  The upper photo one has that marking.  I also find such difference in my photos. Some photos show that black marking prominently!

The upper one was taken first and the lower one was taken later.  So, you may correct but I am not sure!

on Tuesday last week, there were talks of two pallas's reed around, but could not be confirmed, .. when I went back on Wednesday and Friday, the bird which we tracked certainly behaved somewhat differently to the one we saw on Tuesday, .. perhaps he was more used to the general environment?
