Poyang Lake 鄱陽湖12.2014

This year we were very lucky the weather at Poyang Lake was generally fine during our 4-day stay which was quite rare there. In the morning there might be small rain or fog, yet it's sunny in the afternoon. We were also surprised to see 5 nos. of Finless Porpoise swimming in Gan River when we took a boat to another side of the river.

Yes, Poyang Lake is always a great place for watching cranes & geese; the scenes there would always be different from the previous visits.

Poor Tundra Swans & Siberian Cranes being driven away 3 times a day by the fish-farmers who leased the lake from the local govt.
