Please help with identification of birds eaten by spiders
Dear fellow birders,
I have two identification challenges:
1. There is a 2006 record of a bird eaten by a spider

Can anybody identify the bird species?
2. Merrin Pearse took the attached photo. Can anybody identify the bird species? This one is tricky, because only really the feet are visible.
I would really appreciate if you send replies to
spidercatchbird@gmail.com
but you can also reply here.
With my best regards, Bruno Walther

Date, location and habitat details could help as well for identification of the second picture here. Do you have them at all?
Could be a Common Tailorbird but the bare parts may be too yellow for that. Likewise, the feet on Prinias aren't quite as bright as those in the picture.
