Sorry for posting so late. Great Photos!
I highly suspect this is the Kite that I (KFBG) released near Mai Po on the 30th April. I cant imagine there are many ringed BS Kites flying around!
This bird was a very interesting case for us. It was picked up in San Tin in mid -March. Its plumage suggested that it was a first year bird however its behavior and weak flight was more indicative of a much younger dependent fledgling! Fortunately in the 6 short weeks it was in our care it regained full flight and its behavior changed quite dramatically. A spectacular bird and a species that we unfortunatley rarely see in the rescue center (compared to 1990's). I wish it the very best of luck!
