Greater Painted Snipe
The pair was seen well at Mai Po again this morning. The male was seen with 2 chicks, there were photographs showing the male with 3 chicks before I think, anyone know whether the chick have already gone off on it's own?

I saw two male with chicks on 2Jun15, however, the one with 3 chicks havn't been seen since 4Jun15, don't know what happened on 3Jun, hope it just move to somewhere else

I also heard that there were two males with chicks; one male with three chicks and another male with two chicks.

as of start of june;
-first nest to hatch .. to the right hand side of hide 6
-second nest to hatch .. to the left of hide 3 (two chicks)
-third nest to hatch .. directly in front of hide 3 (three chicks)
there was another nest to the right of hide 3 but i don't believe that they have hatched at my last visit.
