Fishing skill of a Striated Heron
Just saw this amazing short video on the internet. There is no info. on when & where this video was shot; I believe it was most likely shot in China.

I agree with one of the commenters there that this is Green Heron ([i]B.virescens[/i]), rather than [i]B.striatus[/i]. The neck and throat are deep red.
So the video is likely to have been shot in north or south America.
But that doesn't mean that American Herons are any smarter than Asian ones !
