sub-adult yellow/grey? Farmland near Powerstation Beach, Lamma, 14th September am.

It's a Yellow Wagtail (subspecies tschutschensis, based on the narrow white supercilium).
The most obvious differences are that Grey Wagtail would have yellow undertail, yellow rump and pale legs.
