We saw this one between Lo Wu and Lok Ma Chau boarder.  It was motionless when we saw this; did not occur to us this was a bird.  Future watched, it made some movement on the same place.  We did not see the head, which was why we did not think it was a bird at the first sight.  We later thought it must be a juvenile.  Thanks in advance.

Eric

It's a Pallas's Leaf Warbler.
Unfortunately I think the behaviour (not very active and sitting with the head under the wing) suggests that the bird may be unwell. Maybe because it has been struggling to find enough food in the recent cold weather.

Thanks, John. Hope today warmer weather has enabled this bird be finding food and be healthy.  Does the fuffy feather make it a young bird?

The fluffy feathers don't indicate the age of the bird (in fact I think you can't tell the age from these photos).
It has fluffed out the feathers to help to keep itself warm.

I see.  Thanks again, John.

Best regards.
