Greater Painted Snipe vs Black-winged Stilt 彩鷸 對 黑翅長腳鷸
A pair of Greater Painted Snipe was seen at [i]gei wai[/i] #16/17 on 23-May. They are on the island in front of Hide 1 where there were also several Black-winged Stilt (an adult and around 4 chicks).
Would like to share the video below showing how the female Snipe defence itself from the Black-winged Stilt's attack. (Sorry for the bad quality)
5月23日於#16/17基圍看見一對彩鷸。位置是1號觀鳥屋前方，當時島上亦有些黑翅長腳鷸，包括1隻成鳥及幾隻幼鳥。
