Brown Noddy at Kung Chau
A tern thought to be a Brown Noddy was seen and photographed on Kung Chau island (off Tap Mun) this morning. Hopefully, photographs will be uploaded here.
This is potentially only the second record for HK following one found and photographed by Geoff Welch at Po Toi on 17 May 2006 during Typhoon Chanchu.

A review of the photos suggested the bird may be a Black Noddy a first for Hong Kng and I think China
This was confirmed the following day when it was seen again and better photos were obtained
A big thank you to Richard and crew for putting the news out promptly so other could see the bird
