Black-tailed Gull in trouble
On 5/2/20 a black-tailed gull was observed in Mai Po mudflat with plastic ringing on its head and mouth. May be it was trying to shake the plastic ring off, It appeared to have a small amount of blood at the corner of its mouth. The gull was still able to move and fly normally at the moment.
The situation of the gull should be worsen. Birders please keep attention on the area around Mai Po mudflat for the injured gull. If necessary, please ask the relevant departments for help.
