Really have no idea of what it is

Just looking at its bill, it looks like a godwit but its plumage is in no way resembles that of a black-tailed godwit.

This is indeed a Black-tailed Godwit. Nice pix.
You can see the black tail in the last photo. This is a winter plumaged bird, which may look different to the summer plumage that is most often illustrated.

The [i]bohaii[/i] sub species is our common winter visitor, while our spring passage migrant are sub species [i]melanurodies[/i], which usually come pass Deep Bay in nice colourful breeding plumage.
