Photos were taken on Apr 25, 2021 @Maipo mudflat by Aileen Lau, my friend.
According to web info, K34 was ringed on Jun 4, 2002 in Korea. If this info is correct, K34 is at least 20 years old now? What is the average life span of a BFS in the wild?

according to the web, the lifespan of bfs is 15 years. Amazing!

Thanks Ivan for the information.
Ringing in 2019 makes more sense as this BFS doesn't look that old. There is no (or no noticeable) yellow patch under its eyes and the lines on the bill are not that much.
