Distinctive white eye strip
Medium size of about 18-22cm
Sighting at Pak Tam Ngau, Sai Kung

Mystery bird
Could it be Orange-bellied Leafbird ? A suggestion only.

Being a newbie birder, I looked up the Orange-bellied Leafbird in the HKBWS Field Guide - published just a couple of months ago - to find that it is not listed. It does appear in the Society's Photographic Guide, published in 2020. What's going on?

Leafbirds
Ah, I forgot that, after scientific work, the leafbirds have been reclassified and ours in HK is now “[b]Greyish-crowned Leafbird[/b]” [i]Chloropsis lazulina[/i].
For HK birding purposes, same bird, new name
