Nice shot, Bob.
Changed to Canon? Which model?

Wing,
My Nikon 8400 is still my favourite camera and will be for a long time but with the Canon 400D now selling so cheaply I just had to buy my first DSLR. I am still reading the manual so I hope to improve.

Welcome back and congrats on getting a real camera, Bob!
Enjoy!

Thanks KK.
Maybe a "Real" camera but I still enjoy digiscoping.

Sure, digiscoping has its place ...
For action bird shots the 'real' camera setup would be hard to beat. I'd recommend a 400/5.6L for birds as a starter. If budget allows the 300/2.8L (w/ 1.4 and 2x at your disposal) would be my first bird lens choice. :)
