Unsure White Wagtail
Photographed today at Tai O. This wagtail seems to have a lot of grey in the body. Which White Wagtail could it be? Neil.

The black eye-stripe limits the options to [i]ocularis[/i] and [i]lugens[/i].
Judging by the black feathering starting to appear in the mantle, and the fully white coverts, this appears to be [i]lugens[/i]. A good record!
I think this subspecies still requires a description for acceptance by the records committee, so I suggest you fill in the necessary form.
