Possible Common Cuckoo @ Mai Po : 29 April 2008
An overseas birdwatching reported he had heard a Common Cuckoo close to the Education Centre this morning (Tuesday 29 April). If confirmed I think this may be a first for HK (?).

At least two previous records are awaiting decision by the Records Committee, one tape recorded calling at Tai Po Kau on 6th April 2005 and one photographed at Po Toi on 4th April 2007.
No need to guess how I know this.
