A wet walk a long Lydford Gorge & a nice sunny afternoon out on Dartmoor. Not exactly a birding trip but still a few good species.

Nice to see Spotted Flycatchers with young, Matthew.
Their numbers have declined dramatically in UK.

indeed Geoff, I have noticed that as well!! We usually have 1 or 2 pairs breeding in our school, but so far I have seen none!! Sad really, as they are one of my favorite summer visitors in the UK, always delightful to watch.:(
