Wader ID pls! (seen at Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China)
Appreciate any ID suggestions!
A mystery wader seen on the beach at
the Min River Estuary, Fuzhou, Fujian
summer 2008
Among the stints we know in Hong Kong, Long-toed and Termminck's have yellow legs. Of the dark legged stints the bill looks too long for Red-necked and Little. Too short for Broad-billed Sandpiper.
Two photos of the same individual

Would it be an adult Sanderling beginning to assume breeding plumage ?
