Any idea yet on what this was?
It doesn't look like any dolphin species to me - Grey Whale (young one?) perhaps????
Perhaps there is a less surprising explanation.

Humpback whale
Humpback whale, reportedly - first for Hong Kong; perhaps the most exciting marine life sighting for years.
News showed it near Stanley (south of Stanley?) today
Heard of it heading towards Cheung Chau this evening; may have a look for it near CC in the morning.
