A quick walk up to the picnic area via the nature trail

Violet Whistling Thrush
[b]Bay Woodpecker[/b] - seen along the TPK Nature Trail, near the decomposing tree information board; it was foraging mostly low down- extremely noisy, I think there may have been two but never saw both at the same time, moves around a lot, calling constantly. It took ten minutes to actually see it properly!

when I first saw the buff-bellied flowerpecker, there were several warbler and minivet appeared suddenly!

Beautiful bird- what area did you see the orange-headed ground thrush in?  I have yet to see one despite much effort!

Yes, it was very beautiful. I saw it in picnic area 3 this morning. Really lucky to see it.
